Audrey Denney Launches “RAV4 ‘People Not Politics’ Tour” Across Northern California

CHICO, CA — Congressional candidate Audrey Denney today announced the launch of the RAV4 “People Not Politics” Tour, a district-wide effort to meet voters across California’s First Congressional District, build a people-powered campaign, and connect directly with communities throughout Northern California.

Over the coming months, Denney and her campaign team will travel across every county in CA-01, hosting meet and greets, community conversations, and volunteer organizing events as part of a coordinated push to reach voters face-to-face ahead of the primary.

The tour begins this week with public events in Lake County on April 7 and Mendocino County on April 8, followed by a canvass launch in Ukiah on April 11, where volunteers will take the campaign directly to voters.

The RAV4 “People Not Politics” Tour reflects Denney’s campaign approach: putting in the miles to meet people where they are, listen to communities, and build a movement rooted in trust and accountability.

“This campaign is about showing up and earning it,” said Denney. “We’re traveling across Northern California to have real conversations with people about what they’re facing and what they need from their government – whether it’s access to healthcare, the cost of living, or feeling like their communities have been left behind. Every mile matters because every conversation matters. That’s how you build trust, and that’s how you build power.”

Unlike traditional campaign tours centered on staged events, Denney’s district tour is focused on direct voter contact and grassroots organizing, with campaign staff and volunteers traveling together with yard signs, walk cards, and organizing materials to grow local engagement at every stop.

Denney’s campaign is grounded in a platform focused on expanding healthcare access in rural communities, lowering costs for working families, protecting fundamental rights and democracy, and advancing a strong anti-corruption agenda that rejects corporate PAC money and holds government accountable to the people it serves.

“At a time when we’re seeing attacks on our rights, rising costs, and politicians more focused on power than people, Northern California deserves leadership that’s willing to stand up and deliver,” Denney said. “I’m running to take on corruption, push back against extremism, and make sure our communities have a real voice in Washington.”

Denney’s campaign has gained early momentum through a growing coalition of grassroots supporters, local leaders, and organizations aligned with her commitment to anti-corruption, working-class leadership, and real solutions for Northern California communities.

Upcoming RAV4 “People Not Politics” Tour stops include:

  • April 7 – Lake County (Clearlake and Lakeport meet and greets)
  • April 8 – Mendocino County (Ukiah and Willits meet and greets)
  • April 11 – Ukiah Canvass Launch (Mendocino County)
