CHICO, CA – Today, Audrey Denney, candidate for California’s First Congressional District, proudly announced another key national endorsement from 314 Action Fund, the only organization dedicated to recruiting, training, and electing Democratic scientists to public office.
Denney, who grew up on a family farm and earned her Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Agriculture at Chico State, shared, “Rep. LaMalfa is a corporate mouthpiece and climate change denier who once said that abortion causes cancer. He has no business making policy decisions about the real lives and experiences of the people he claims to serve. I will use my background in agriculture science, education, strengthening food systems and leading non-profits to advance policies in Congress that are proven to make life better for people, and I will let both data and the lived experiences of Northern Californians guide my decision-making every single day.
