WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today EMILYs List is announcing Mission Majority, an aggressive initiative to expand the U.S. House battlefield, create multiple paths to victory, and flip the nation’s most competitive seats with Democratic women. 

“In 2026, Democrats’ path back to a U.S. House majority runs straight through EMILYs List women. With our Mission Majority initiative, EMILYs List is building the battlefield — recruiting, training, and working alongside the Democratic women in the districts that will flip control of the House,” said EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler. “We’ve been here before. In 2018, facing a daunting 23-seat deficit, Democratic women didn’t just compete — they delivered the majority. Now, with the future of our country on the line, EMILYs List is once again leading the charge.” 

This is the first look at EMILYs List’s 2026 House battlefield, an expansive target map that includes more than 50 House races across the country. It spans frontline races where incumbent Democratic women face reelection, competitive flip opportunities, and new territories where a favorable environment offers Democrats the opportunity to compete and win in historically tough terrain.

In each of these districts, EMILYs List is recruiting, working alongside, or monitoring Democratic women candidates who are uniquely positioned to win these seats. Our best-in-class campaign strategists are helping these “Majority Makers” to build out winning campaigns that will secure Democratic control of the U.S. House this November.
